Wann erheben wir Daten und zu welchem Zweck?

Wenn Sie eines unserer Spiele spielen

Wenn bei einem von Ihnen gespielten Spiel ein Fehler aufgetreten ist, es abgestürzt ist oder in einen fehlerhaften Zustand geraten ist (im Folgenden allgemein als „Problem“ bezeichnet) und Sie der automatischen Übermittlung von Fehlerberichten zugestimmt haben, können wir folgenden Daten automatisch erfassen:

  • Ihr Betriebssystem und dessen Version
  • die Sprach-, Gebietsschema- und Zeitzoneneinstellungen Ihres Betriebssystems
  • die Version des Spiels und seiner Dateien
  • die Einstellungen Ihres Spiels (Grafikeinstellungen, Eingabeeinstellungen, …)
  • die Startzeit des Spiels
  • die Startzeit Ihres Betriebssystems
  • Informationen darüber, wie und auf welche Weise das Spiel Ihren Computerspeicher verwendet hat
  • Informationen darüber, wie und auf welche Weise das Spiel Threads (das sind Sequenzen von Programmanweisungen, die vom Computerprozessor geplant und ausgeführt werden müssen) verwendet hat, um seine Arbeitslast zu verteilen
  • die Hardwarekonfiguration Ihres Computers (Grafikkarte, Prozessor, Mainboard, …) und die verwendeten Gerätetreiberversionen
  • die Problemmeldung
  • welcher Code des Spiels ausgeführt wurde, als das Problem auftrat

Wenn Sie sich für die Nutzung des im Spiel enthaltenen Feedback-Formulars entscheiden, erheben wir folgende Daten:

  • Ihr Betriebssystem und dessen Version
  • die Sprach-, Gebietsschema- und Zeitzoneneinstellungen Ihres Betriebssystems
  • die Version des Spiels und seiner Dateien
  • die Einstellungen Ihres Spiels (Grafikeinstellungen, Eingabeeinstellungen, …)
  • die Startzeit des Spiels
  • die Startzeit Ihres Betriebssystems
  • Informationen darüber, wie und auf welche Weise das Spiel Ihren Computerspeicher verwendet hat

Die Daten werden zum Zweck der Verbesserung und Optimierung unserer Spiele erhoben. Eine Zusammenführung der erhobenen Daten mit anderen Datenquellen erfolgt nicht.

Unsere Spiele können über Steam, eine von der Valve Corporation entwickelte Vertriebsplattform, vertrieben und ausgeführt werden. In diesem Fall kann Valve zusätzliche Informationen von Ihnen erheben und verarbeiten. Steam wird von Valve Corporation, 10400 NE 4th St floor 14, Bellevue, WA 98004, USA betrieben. Unsere Spiele können eine Twitch Audience Integration Funktionalität enthalten. Wenn Sie eine solche Funktionalität aktivieren, stellt das Spiel eine Verbindung zu den Servern von Twitch her. In diesem Fall erhält Twitch Ihre IP-Adresse sowie den Twitch-Kanal, den Sie für die Twitch Audience Integration nutzen möchten. Wenn Sie unsere Webseiten besuchen

Zu statistischen Zwecken erheben wir beim Besuch unserer Webseiten automatisch folgende Daten:

  • Ihre Webbrowser-Software und -Version

  • Referrer-URL (Ihre zuvor besuchte Website)
  • Anonymisierte (gekürzte) IP-Adresse Ihres Computers. Kürzung bedeutet dass die Hälfte jeder IP-Adresse entfernt wird.

Die erhobenen Daten werden nicht mit anderen Datenquellen zusammengeführt.

YouTube

Unsere Webseiten nutzen Plugins für YouTube. Betreiber von YouTube ist die YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. Auf Seiten in denen wir ein YouTube-Plugin verwenden, ist dieses bei Aufruf stets deaktiviert bis der Nutzer es durch einen Klick auf die Video-Fläche aktiviert. Wenn Sie das YouTube-Plugin aktivieren, wird Ihr Webbrowser eine Verbindung zu den Servern von YouTube herstellen. Dabei werden die Seiten, die sie bei uns besucht haben, an YouTube geschickt. YouTube kann damit Ihr Surfverhalten Ihrem YouTube Profil zuordnen, wenn Sie dabei in ihrem YouTube-Account eingeloggt sind.

This is the privacy policy of Bow Echo Games. It applies to all of our websites, services, games and other products (collectively hereinafter referred to as our “Services”).

The protection of our users’ personal information is very important to us. We respect the Bundesdatenschutzgesetz (federal data protection act of Germany), the General Data Protection Regulation and the Telemediengesetz (German law on telecommunication and media). All user data will only be collected and used to the extend that is described in this privacy policy.

All data collected from you will be treated confidentially and will not be shared with third parties unless we are legally obliged to do so or if we have your explicit consent.

When do we collect data and for what purpose?

When you play one of our games

If a game that you play has encountered an error, has crashed, has entered a faulty state (collectively hereinafter referred to as “Issue”) and you agreed to the automatic transmission of error reports, then we may collect the following data automatically:

  • your operating system and its version
  • the language, locale and timezone settings of your operating system
  • the version of the game and its files
  • the settings of your game (graphics settings, input settings, …)
  • the game start time
  • the operating system start time
  • information about how and in which way the game utilized your computer memory
  • information about how and in which way the game utilized threads (those are sequences of program instructions to be scheduled and executed by the computer processor) to distribute its work load
  • the hardware configuration of your computer (graphics card, processor, mainboard, …) and the used device driver versions
  • the Issue message
  • which code of the game was being executed when the Issue has occured

If you decide to use the feedback form included in the game, then we will collect the following data:

  • your operating system and its version
  • the language, locale and timezone settings of your operating system
  • the version of the game and its files
  • the settings of your game (graphics settings, input settings, …)
  • the game start time
  • the operating system start time
  • information about how and in which way the game utilized your computer memory
  • information about how and in which way the game utilized threads (those are sequences of program instructions to be scheduled and executed by the computer processor) to distribute its work load
  • the hardware configuration of your computer (graphics card, processor, mainboard, …) and the used device driver versions
  • the name you specified in the feedback form
  • the e-mail address you specified in the feedback form
  • the message you specified in the feedback form

This data is collected for the purpose of improving and optimizing our games. The collected data will not be merged with other data sources.

Our games may be distributed and run via Steam, a distribution platform developed by Valve Corporation. In that case, Valve may collect and process additional information from you. Our games may include a Twitch Audience Integration functionality. If you activate such a functionality, the game will establish a connection to Twitch’ servers. In that case, Twitch will receive your IP address as well as the Twitch channel that you want to use for the Twitch Audience Integration. When you visit our web pages

We automatically collect the following data for statistical purposes when you visit our web pages:

  • your web browser software and version
  • your operating system
  • Referrer URL (your previously visited website)
  • Anonymized (truncated) IP address of your computer. Truncation means that remove half of each IP address.

The collected data will not be merged with other data sources.

YouTube

Our websites use plugins for YouTube. YouTube is being operated by YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. On websites for which we use a YouTube-Plugin, it will always remain deactivated until the user activates it by clicking on a video-surface. When you activate a YouTube-Plugin, your web browser will establish a connection to YouTube’s web servers. In doing so, the pages that you have visited on our website will be sent to YouTube. YouTube can use this to associate your surfing behavior with your YouTube profile if you’re logged in to your YouTube account.
